Deezer Introduces Toggle to Filter Out AI-Generated Music

Deezer is taking a proactive stance against the increasing presence of AI-generated music on its platform by introducing a toggle feature that allows users to filter out such tracks. This move aims to enhance user experience and address growing concerns among listeners about the authenticity of music. The feature is expected to roll out by the end of the year, although specific timing for different regions remains unconfirmed, particularly for users in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

This surge represents approximately 44% of all uploads, and by July, AI-generated music accounted for more than half of new music submissions.
